Our Story: A & G Pizza House in Franklin, OH
It all began with stopping by to pick up dinner after work one day. A & G Pizza House was our favorite pizza shop in Franklin, and Friday nights always meant pizza. Established in the early 1970s, A & G had changed owners over the years, but the name — and the love from the community — stayed the same.
How We Became Owners of A & G Pizza House
During that visit, I jokingly said I should quit my job and buy a place like this. That’s when they told me it was for sale — yikes! After months of going back and forth, we decided to take the leap and make it work. On September 1, 2008, we officially became the owners of A & G Pizza House.
A Family-Owned Pizza Restaurant in Franklin, OH
It wasn’t the easiest time to invest in a restaurant — nearly half were failing — but we believed in A & G Pizza House. Steve left his job to become a full-time owner, while I continued working until retirement. We’re so glad we took the chance. Today, A & G Pizza is a hometown favorite and a true family business. Our success comes from great customer service, quality food, and the loyal Franklin community we’re proud to serve.
Meet the Family Behind A & G Pizza
We are proud parents of one daughter, Mollie Bicknell, who, along with our son-in-law Will, plays an active role in the business while raising their daughters — Makenna, Stella, and Willa.
